With Nadcap accreditation and Rolls Royce, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier and other prime approvals, at the International Paris Airshow Wallwork Group will show how their heat treatments, PVD coatings, vacuum brazing, and plasma nitriding services improve the performance of compressor blades, blisks, disks, bearings, fasteners, honeycomb seals and more.
The company is joining other champions of UK industry, on the Midlands Aerospace Alliance stand in the UK Pavilion, stand F172 Pod 1.
“Europe continues to be an important and growing market for Wallwork. The aviation sector remains strong despite geopolitical events and is continually seeking to reduce component weight, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Here our proprietary advanced ultra hard coating systems such as Nitron Flight for compressor blades plays a significant role,” explained Howard Maher, group sales manager.
“Another attraction for European aerospace component manufacturers of Wallwork capabilities is our range of services from a single supplier which assures competitive lead times and pricing. For example, duplex processes, such as plasma nitriding followed by PVD coating, can take place at one location. We also have our own inhouse laboratory facilities, mechanical testing, and research and development teams of experienced metallurgists to help customers further improve their parts,” added Howard.
Trade visitor days at The International Paris Air Show run from Monday 19 to Thursday 22, June 2023. More information about the show and trade visitor passes is available at https://www.siae.fr/en/.
