1) The light-weight steel frame three classroom building took Smart Space just 15 weeks to construct at Kingsbury School
2) Sited next to the sports hall previously built by Smart Space, the building required far less groundwork than conventional construction
3) Textiles technology classroom. Throughout the building a secondary internal lining with 40nm insulated foam board and insulated floor slab ensures heat is retained
4) Food technology classroom. Ready for the new school year and the arrival of 35 new sixth form students, the Smart Space building houses three new classrooms dedicated to food technology, textiles and psychology
5) Primary heating for the new sixth form block is from an air-source heat pump. This is helps make the building fully compliant with simplified building energy model (SBEM) calculations
